The current collaboration between Carlo Salvi and Celo is the result of a story of mutual esteem and appreciation.

Founded in 1963 from Mr. Ceravalls and Mr. Lopez, the Catalan Group is  specialized in the development and manufacturing of parts for automotive and for electrical fields. CELO has installed till now 15 new high-tech Carlo Salvi headers in the historical factory in Barcelona. A goal that confirms the international market attention to the technology of the company of Garlate.

After the first contacts in 2013 the partnership between the two companies, both in a leading position, came true starting from 2018.

“Our meeting at the Wire Fair of Düsseldorf, internationally known we always attend, lead us to the realization of trials in our factory in Garlate, focusing on a representative part of the production range of Celo” states Marco Pizzi, Chief Commercial Officer of Carlo Salvi. ”We have taken care of the collaboration with the company in Barcelona for a long time and we have always been sure to be the right partner for the upgrading and modernization of their machinery. Our aim was reducing the number of machines, time and costs, increasing the productivity of 20-30%. Achieving this goal is a tangible evidence”.

Starting from 2019 Celo has started reorganizing its company: in two years they replaced about 30 machines. Quick and reliable Carlo Salvi headers let them achieve and overcome the production expectation we promised. The easy and quick tools’ set-up allows Celo to reduce waste of time and facilitates the training of non-experts.

“Relying on Carlo Salvi was due to the need of improving the production processes and of fitting them to market’s volatility. The growing demand requires a series of parts more and more complex and completely customized. We are determined to face the changes and uncertainties of this period, looking to the future with versatility and trust. Carlo Salvi’s headers contributed and will continue giving our company a boost to face challenges” says Teresa Pons, Plant Manager of Celo.

Openness, entrepreneurial spirit and collaboration are the values which qualified the project since its beginning. The expert team of both companies shared their know-how to develop together a tailor-made solution able to satisfy requests and needs.

"The project we undertake with Celo has certainly been ambitious but, thanks to the trust the customer gave to our staff and to our technology, we get it. Celo is a highly professional and dynamic Group with whom we share the excellence research in process and results” concludes Mr. Pizzi.
